The relationship of certain organic factors to individual differences in human parotid secretory rate.

Abstract
The extreme variations in the rate of in-activated human parotid secretion do not appear to be related to wt., height, age, pulse rate, diastolic or systolic blood pressure. The parotid secretions were collected directly from the ducts of the glands by means of suction discs. 123 subjects were studied; ages ranged from 12-49 yrs.
