Abstract

Specimens of Muscites eocenicus sp. nov. were found in a laminated, tuffaceous, silty, and pyroclastic shale with arkosic granule conglomerates in the Allenby Formation (Middle Eocene) near Princeton in southern British Columbia. The fossils, the associated fossil flora, and the rock are described.
