Abstract
Whole-body .gamma. irradiation (8 Gy) [gray] of rats produced modifications in enzymatic activities and malonaldehyde content of liver mitochondrial fractions. Irradiation resulted in higher cytochrome oxidase and NADH-cytochrome c reductase activities, and lower superoxide dismutase and catalase activities, leading to increased lipid peroxidation as indicated by higher malonaldehyde concentrations in liver mitochondrial fractions. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
