Abstract
HLA-DR and HLA-ABC (HLA-A, HLA-B and HLA-C) antigen expression on normal [human] erythroid progenitors was analyzed using monoclonal antibodies to nonpolymorphic determinants and fluorescence-activated cell sorting. The expression glycophorin, a well-defined erythroid-specific cell-surface membrane glycoprotein was analyzed using a monoclonal antibody. HLA-DR, HLA-ABC and glycophorin are all expressed at various stages during erythroid differentiation. Keywords
