Abstract
Dependence of microwave emission intensity from InSb on an angle between the dc electric and magnetic fields is measured in X-band at 77°K to investigate the mechanism of instability. Rather complicated magnetic field dependence is also shown. A linear relationship is found between log B 0 and θ max , where B 0 is the threshold magnetic field and G max is the angle between the electric and magnetic fields to give the maximum emission intensity.
