Retroperitoneal Fibrosis in the Scrotum

Abstract
Retroperitoneal fibrosis in the scrotum, as a part of systemic fibrosis, is an extremely rare condition. Scrotal involvement is hardly mentioned in the literature and always in combination with other involved organs. We describe a case of idiopathic fibrosis of the tunica vaginalis 6 years after treatment of the retroperitoneal form of the disease. Attention must be paid to the protracted activity of this multifocal (systemic) disease.
