Abstract
Retrograde vertebral artery blood flow as a normal variant in a significant number of patients has not been previously described. Recognition of this fact is important because of the increased interest in the subclavlan steal syndrome and other causes of cerebrovascular insufficiency. Equal pulses and blood pressure in the arm permit clinical differentiation from "subclavian steal.".Keywords
