Abstract
Cirrhosis, through the process of necrosis, fibrosis, regeneration, and malignant transformation, creates multiple focal benign and malignant hepatic masses. The detection and appearance of these masses varies with the severity of the cirrhotic process and the imaging technique used. Although some overlap exists in the imaging appearance of the benign and malignant masses, in most instances recognition of a few characteristic features will yield the correct diagnosis. Keywords
