Abstract

The recent results of Hahn et al. on the

{}^{16}{(α}

,γ

)^{20}

Ne capture reaction are discussed in the light of a microscopic calculation. We suggest that the S factor at 300 keV proposed by Hahn et al. should be substantially increased.
