AN UNUSUAL ANGIOGRAPHIC APPEARANCE OF CEREBRAL ARTERIOVENOUS MALFORMATIONS

Abstract
Two cases of histologically proven, angiographically similar cerebral arteriovenous malformations are reported which are apparently angiographically unlike other cerebral arteriovenous malformations and have criteria to suggest malignancy, which fortunately were false. The important feature appears to be a "feathering" of the abnormal arteries in conjunction with early regional venous drainage.
