Abstract
The efficient generation of uv radiation at 3547 Å has been achieved in rubidium dihydrogen phosphate (RDP) through frequency mixing of the fundamental and second harmonic radiation of a Nd:YAG laser. An over‐all peak power conversion efficiency of 21% was obtained for the experimental conditions described, thus demonstrating the attractiveness of RDP for frequency conversion applications. Keywords
