Abstract
A purified antigen prepared from the mycelia of Aspergillus fischeri was employed in a latex slide agglutination test for the detection of aspergillus antibodies in human sera. The antigen is apparently a galactomannan with a molecular weight of ≧ 100 000 and contains no detectable protein. The latex test results showed close agreement with those obtained by the agar double diffusion test. Keywords
