Abstract
Erythro phosphinyl alcohols 3 and the threo isomers 4 give (E)- and (Z)-alkenes, respectively, by an anti elimination in contrast to the syn Horner–Wittig elimination of the corresponding phosphinoyl alcohols.Keywords
