Abstract
The neutron yield from has been studied up to a proton energy of Mev. A resonance is found at Mev which corresponds to an excited state in at 11.07 Mev and coincides with a previously reported level deduced from the reactions of deuterons on . This finding furnishes evidence that the same state of a compound nucleus can be excited by two entirely different processes.
