Abstract
Three cases of transitional cell carcinoma of the renal pelvis which exhibited invasion into the renal parenchyma and occlusion of the renal vein are reported. Angiographic differentiation from a renal cell carcinoma is difficult in these cases. A frozen section at surgery will reveal the definitive diagnosis and lead the surgeon to the operation of choice. Keywords
