Abstract
Low‐field magnetic properties of the zero magnetostrictive amorphous ribbons of (Co, Fe, M)78Si8B14 alloys (M=V,Nb,Ta,Cr,Mo,W,Mn or Ni) have been investigated. In all of these systems, the zero magnetostriction lines are located in the iron poor side less than 10 at%. The alloys containing VA and VIA group elements show highly improved low‐field magnetic properties with the effective permeability exceeding 105 and the coercive force less than 2 mOe after the optimum heat treatment. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
