Abstract
The inelastic neutron scattering technique was used to measure the excitation spectra of pairs and triads of magnetic Mn2+ ions in the one‐dimensional S‐state magnet CsMnxMg1−xBr3 (x=0.14, 0.28, 0.5). It turns out that the Heisenberg exchange interactions in pairs and triads are slightly different from each other.
