Venous Aneurysms

Abstract
SUBCUTANEOUS masses may present a problem in differential diagnosis. Aneurysmal dilatation of a localized segment of a vein occurring in the absence of associated varicose veins is a rare phenomenon but, when present, may be mistaken for other tumors in the subcutaneous tissues. The purpose of this report is to emphasize the clinical patterns in 5 cases of venous aneurysm in an attempt to aid in accurate preoperative diagnosis.
