Abstract
Treatment is reported of a single case of secondary syphilis and 5 male patients with acute gonorrhea with synnematin B, an antibiotic which has been shown to be treponemicidal in vitro and in rabbits. The syphilitic patient was followed for only 10 days after start of treatment, during which time his lesions faded. The gonorrhea patients showed a satisfactory clinical response. Keywords
