Abstract
Broadband ferrite phase shifters were constructed in X band waveguide by locating wide ferrite slabs along the center line of the broad waveguide wall and applying a longitudinal magnetic field. The bandwidth of these phase shifters was optimized through proper selection of ferrite dimensions and the amount of dielectric loading or by an appropriate choice of guiding structure. The relative phase shift obtained from broadband configurations was found to vary in an almost linear fashion with the applied field when the ferrite was magnetically saturated. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
