Clinical Experience with Clonazepam (Rivotril) in the Treatment of Epilepsy in Adults

Abstract
The authors report on the use of clonazepam in 63 adult epileptics over a period of 3 years. Clonazepam had a particularly good effect on focal epilepsies both when administered alone and when combined with other anticonvulsants. Attention is drawn to the two patients with epilepsia partialis continua who became free from attacks under clonazepam therapy. The side effects of the drug are dealt with briefly.
