Abstract
Studies indicate that not only are certain substances required for the growth, but the type of growth produced under adequate conditions of nutrition differs considerably from that observed on the commonly used media where these growth substances are either absent or present in inadequate amounts. On special enriched media, the microconidia and macroconidia of this sp. were observed for several strains studied. These structures are descr. in detail, and the classification of T. violaceum is reviewed. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
