CHEMOTHERAPY OF EXPERIMENTAL TUBERCULOSIS .7. HETEROCYCLIC ACID HYDRAZIDES AND DERIVATIVES

Abstract
The antituberculous activity of several heterocyclic carboxylic acid hydrazides was studied. 2_Furoic acid hydrazide was the most active compound. Thiophene-2-carboxylic acid hydrazide and imidiazole-5-carboxylic acid hydrazide also showed high activity. None of the compounds tested was as active as isoniazid.
