Electron detachment in collisions involving 4-30 keV He-and N-ions

Abstract
Electron detachment cross sections for the He- and H- ions in hydrogen, helium and argon have been determined in the energy range 4-30 keV. While cross sections for He- impact are larger than the corresponding cross sections for H- impact, a similar energy dependence is observed.Keywords
