Abstract
The composition dependence of the thermal‐diffusion factor for the hydrogen—helium system has been studied by a trennschaukel. Like thermal conductivity, the thermal‐diffusion‐vs‐composition curve for this particular system shows a pronounced minimum. It has been suggested that probably the effects of inelastic collisions are responsible for the apparently anomalous behavior. Keywords
