Abstract
This study suggests that in some cases, alveolar-cell carcinoma begins in a single focus. It can remain localized for at least a year. Surgical excision of the tumor may eradicate the disease in patients with localized disease, but is unlikely to achieve this result in those with diffuse involvement. Keywords
