Abstract
Methyl groups in alternating octanucleotides containing 7-methyl-7-deazaguanine and cytosine have steric freedom and maintain the B-DNA structure, whereas the isomeric-8-methyl-7-deazaguanine causes a B–Z transition.Keywords
