Abstract
Left ventricular angiograms of 6 children were reviewed. Angiograms obtained in axial (long axial oblique and hepatoclavicular) projections enhanced precision in the diagnosis of subvalvular aortic stenosis. The methods for obtaining these views are described. Axial views are never inferior to standard (posteroanterior, lateral and right anterior oblique) projections and are usually superior, especially with associated lesions, e.g., ventricular septal defects, left-sided obstructive lesions and patent ductus arteriosus. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
