Lower bound for the piezoelectric polaron

Abstract
Using a modification of a technique that Lieb and Yamazaki applied to the optical polaron, we have found a lower bound to the energy of the piezoelectric polaron. We use this lower bound to investigate the energy-momentum relation for the piezoelectric polaron.Keywords
