Abstract
The following case is reported for several reasons: First, as far as we could ascertain, a malignant change in a benign bone cyst has never been reported in the world literature. Second, a benign bone cyst in a child before it has begun to walk is a rarity. Third, team-work between surgeon, pathologist and roentgenologist and also between surgeon and surgeon is a necessity in developing the complete history and progress of an individual case. REPORT OF A CASE History. —I. M., aged 9 years, was referred to the clinic of Dr. Pusitz on Dec. 18, 1934, by Dr. Brethauer of Alta Vista, Kan., with the essential complaint of pain and swelling in the upper part of the right leg.
