Abstract
The distribution function of relaxation times for the α dispersion in polycarbonate has been calculated from measurements of thermally stimulated discharge currents. This function can be adequately described by the empirical expression of Havriliak and Negami, first derived from the complex plane analysis of ac dielectric data. The values of the distribution parameters obtained from the two types of measurements are in excellent agreement.Keywords
