Abstract
Summary: Three of 39 first-admission schizophrenics committed suicide during the 10 to 15 year follow-up period of a retrospective, case-register based inquiry. Schizophrenic patients often talk about and attempt suicide. However, there is little reliable knowledge about the clinical characteristics of those who are likely to kill themselves. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
