Abstract
Galactosamine-6-phosphate was identified as a component of the coat of the B. megaterium QM B1551 spore. It was one of the main constituents of the outermost layer of the spore coat, but it was absent from the other integuments including the cortex. Thus, galactosamine-6-phosphate comprises the P-containing skeleton structure of the spore coat. This publication has 11 references indexed in Scilit:
