Abstract
A scheme for some representative separations of metal ions Ag(l), Tl(I), Cu(II), Cd(II), Hg(II), Be(II), Zn(II), Pb(II), Mn(II), Fe(II), Co(II), Ni(II), Al(III), As(III), Sb(III), Cr(III), Th(IV), Zr(IV). Sn(IV), Ti(IV), V(V), U(V), Mo(VI) and Se(VI) of ternary, quaternary, pentnary and hexanary type on NTA (Nitrilo triacetic acid) imnreg-nated plates using 5 % aq. ammonia, ethanol, acetone and acetic acid of different compositions as developing systems and 0.5 % dithizone (in chloroform) for visualisation, is reported.
