Abstract
Absolute oscillator strengths for absorption near the K edge in N2 and the carbon K edge in CO have been derived from 8 keV electron energy-loss measurements. The resonance structure in the spectra is compared to results of the multiple-scattering model as applied by Dehmer and Dill (1976).Keywords
