Abstract
The total lipids of ox and guinea-pig pancreas were fractionated on silicic acid columns. The high lipid content of both tissues was due to triglyceride. The major fatty acids of this triglyceride were stearic acid, palmitic acid and oleic acid. The pattern of individual phospholipids resembled that of liver, though pancreas contained more plasmalogen. This publication has 18 references indexed in Scilit:
