Abstract
The E.S.R. spectra of 15N iminoxyl radicals induced by molecular reorientation are computed. The rotational brownian diffusion and the jump models are treated. The calculation method is valid for all rotational correlation times τ. Marked differences in the lineshapes are observed in the range of τ > 5 × 10-9 sec. These differences are found to be more pronounced for the 15N than for the 14N radical. It is inferred from comparison of computed and experimental spectra that the jump model is preferable for description of radical reorientations at slow motions. Keywords
