Abstract
The nymphal stages of the known North American species of the genus Hoplopleura are described and illustrated. Two new species are described, H. ferrisi from Peromyscus boylei, P. nasutus, and P. eremicus and H. onychomydis from Onychomys torridus. The former can only be recognized in the immature stages. Characters that distinguish H. arboricola K. and F. and H. erratica (Osb.) in both immature and adult stages are discussed. Keys to all immature stages are presented.
