Abstract
The concept and term of distance index, a complex ratio of cell, nucleus and nucleolus was previously reported. Twenty cells were sampled from 34 advanced human cancers, 21 early cancers and 6 benign atypical lesions for this stochastical diagnosis. Distance index had better diagnostic value in separating gastric cancer and benign epithelium than the nuclear cell ratio and nucleolar cell ratio. The value of the constant K is most suitable at 130.This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
