Abstract
A population probing method has been employed for lifetime measurements of the v = 0 bands of the A3Φ2, B3Π0 and C3Δ1 electronic states of TiO. These lifetimes were found to be 102·4 ± 3·5, 54·4 ± 3·6 and 32·4 ± 2·3 ns, respectively. Possible sources of errors are discussed. Keywords
