Abstract
The temperature changes and bleaching of the nasal mucosa were measured in dogs in response to physical and chemical stimuli. A correspondence was observed between the 2 measuring techniques, in regard to dose-response, although the rates of change were dissimilar. It seems that temperature measurements are sufficiently reflective of the status quo to be useful in drug assay procedures. Keywords
