Abstract
T-wave inversion, in leads localized to a small segment of the precordium, has in rare instances been described as a normal variant. The present report concerns a number of individuals in whom more or less similar T-wave changes developed under circumstances suggesting myocardial ischemia, and who went on to develop acute infarction of the anterior wall of the heart. This may be a clinical analogue of the brief T-wave inversion which has been observed early in experimental coronary artery compression. Keywords
