Abstract
Descriptions of the 3rd instar larvae of 5 of the 6 spp. of Myrmeleon found in Florida are given. Only M. immaculatus De Geer was described previously. M. insertus Hagen is a new record for the state. A key to the species [including M. mobilis Hagen, M. crudelis Walker, M. heriocles Banks and M. carolinus (Banks)] is provided, and the diagnostic characters (chaetotaxy of the mandible; pigmentation pattern of the ventral surface of the head) are illustrated. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
