Abstract
Recent experiments on proton-proton collisions with the intersecting storage ring facility have shown a number of features which may be explained by the high energy 'scaling' model of Feynman. The authors have examined cosmic ray data in some detail to 1018 eV and find that they do not support the model being valid, at least without serious modification, to these much higher energies. Keywords
