Abstract
In female Long-Evans rats, development of prolactin cell adenomas is preceded by hyperplasia of prolactin cells, suggesting that factors affecting the endocrine function of prolactin cells might have an important role in the genesis of prolactin-producing pituitary tumors.Keywords
