Abstract
Tests for inherited cellular antigens in the bloods of > 80 pairs of bovine twins showed that in most pairs the twins had identical blood types. Since the frequency of identical twinning is low, the phenotypic identity of blood types is explained by the vascular anastomoses and interchange of cells between twins. Available evidence showed that cells containing antigens in one twin could be present only by derivation from the other twin. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
