Abstract
One dimensional computational studies on pellet gain optimization in implosion, ignition and burn processes by light ion beam are presented. The effects of thickness of Au shell or tamper and fuel mass are investigated and the breakeven condition is examined for 100TW, 10 MeV, 2MJ proton beam with a Gaussian power shape. Keywords
