Abstract
In this article a schematic model is developed to describe the processes, determinants, and required elements of support for programmed implementation of innovations in organizational settings. Implications for planning and managing programmed implementation are discussed. Integration of this model, or similar ones, into the normal practices for knowledge creation and diffusion should result in improved utilization and thereby improved return on investments made in innovation. Keywords
