Toxoplasmosis after Renal Transplantation: Implications of a Missed Diagnosis

Abstract
We describe a renal transplant patient with a primary Toxoplasma gondii infection presenting as pneumonitis, with subsequent chorioretinitis and encephalitis. The diagnostic challenges of T. gondii infection in immunocompromised patients are discussed.Keywords
