Abstract
This paper describes a simple hand generated pressure technique of fluting point preforms and examines results of replicative experiments demonstrating its application. Experimental results are compared with archaeological evidence. The experimental data and arguments presented here strongly support my view that this may have been a common method by which Folsom artisans detached channel flakes from projectile points. Keywords
